transforming my beach house kitchen with kaboodle!

I recently updated my kitchen at our beach house to give it a much-needed refresh! We wanted a look that felt a little bit lux without breaking the bank as our previous kitchen didn’t match our style or taste. My husband and I have been wanting to renovate since we bought the house, and it finally felt like the right time to give it the TLC it needed, so, I got in touch with my friends at kaboodle to start the process! Our beach house is where we spend almost every weekend and most of the summer, it’s our favourite escape from the city, a place where we feel completely relaxed. Given how much time we spend there, we wanted to give the house the update it needed and make it feel a little bit more like home!

why did I go with macaroon alpine doors and coconutty benchtops?

For me, I’ve always gravitated towards neutral colours, which played a big role in our decision. Neutral colours are timeless and allow for fun, vibrant decor. The macaroon alpine doors and panels were perfect because they were more of an warm white, giving the kitchen an inviting feel, which is exactly what we wanted! The coconutty benchtop was chosen for its simplicity, and it matched the coastal aesthetic we were after perfectly. I looked into a marble look benchtop but in the end, felt it would have looked too fancy in a house by the beach! The coconutty also provides a clean backdrop for colourful accessories like fruit bowls and other bits and pieces that sit on your kitchen bench. I am big on styling, so I can’t wait to do this.

kaboodle's 3D planner

Using the 3D kaboodle planner was an amazing experience! It was incredibly easy and the perfect way to visualise the space before starting the work. I designed the kitchen myself on the 3D planner, which is saying something because I’m not a designer. It allows you to test different designs and see what you like. The drag-and-drop feature is super user-friendly and low key feels like you’re playing Sims, it was honestly so fun. Plus, the planner keeps track of costs as you go, helping you stay within budget while picking and choosing items!

how did I go assembling the kitchen?

Assembling the kaboodle products was way easier than I expected! The instructions are super straightforward and clear, with detailed steps for each part. I will admit, I did convince my handy man of a dad to help me out, but even without him, we could have done it!

should you try kaboodle?

BIG YES! The kaboodle team was a pleasure to work with. Everything was delivered quickly and assembling it yourself is super easy with clear instructions. Kaboodle provides a lux kitchen at a lower cost, the quality is great, and it’s the perfect upgrade for any home. We’re also using kaboodle products in our laundry at the beach house. And again, it’s given the space a modern and new look without breaking the bank!

Our new kitchen has totally changed the way we use the space. It feels way more welcoming and social now that it has had a well needed makeover. My husband and I adore cooking I’m already planning all the summer dinner parties I want to host! I am envisioning everyone gathered around the benchtop, having drinks and snacks, and enjoying each other’s company whilst I cook!
